De Fazio Gourmet began its operation in 1996. It is family-owned and operated by Carmine and Angela De Fazio, both first generation Italians. They perceived a strong market in the area for high-quality, home-style biscotti. The concept was carefully researched and developed with the following goals in mind: to redefine and enhance a traditional Italian cookie, establish a standard of quality that would make biscotti appealing to a broader consumer base and provide a tasty alternative to high-calorie desserts. De Fazio Gourmet biscotti is recognized as a product of high quality, eye-appeal and great taste. They are found across Canada in coffee shops, restaurants, speciality markets, grocery & convenience stores and hotels, practically anywhere coffee is sold.
